Now there’s an idea!
Robert Englund recently made it clear that he’s probably too old to play Freddy Krueger again, telling Entertainment Weekly that he doesn’t think he’ll don the makeup ever again, but that doesn’t rule out Nightmare on Elm Street projects outside the world of live-action…does it?
Speaking with Syfy Wire this week, Englund noted that he’d love to *voice* Freddy Krueger in some sort of animated continuation of the horror franchise he made famous.
“Now, if they did a really expensive animated version, a graphic novel animated version, I would love to go do the voice for it. Yeah, that would be fun to do,” said Englund.
In the same chat, Englund reiterated recent comments about the future of the live-action franchise, noting that he’d love to see a Freddy prequel or a remake of Dream Warriors.
