Doug Bradley & Michael Berryman Open a Door to Hell with ‘The Temple of the Killer Tiger Monkeys’ Podcast

Cinedownloads has launched The Temple of the Killer Tiger Monkeys, a serialized podcast starring horror icons Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) and Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes).

Based on the 2019 novel of the same name by John Mitchell, who also writes and directs the podcast, the genre-bending audio drama combines horror, kung fu, action, comedy, urban fantasy, and sorcery.

Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser), Simon Bamford (Hellraiser), and James Pax (Big Trouble in Little China) also star, with Dr. Hugh Pincott — the last surviving paranormal researcher from the notorious Enfield Poltergeist case — serving as narrator.

The door to Hell is open and demons are flooding the mortal realm; rampaging, burning and destroying. The City Council controls the situation with a dirty cover-up, courtesy of a treacherous alliance with toilet dwelling Illuminati. The demons split into a civil war, one half wanting to conquer the Earth, the others wanting to collective bargain with Satan for better conditions in Hell.

The situation threatens to spiral out of control with planned protests and marches for their rights. The Council is forced to bring in a 5,000-year-old secret society of demon hunters to fix everything: The Temple of the Killer Tiger Monkeys. Yet before the Temple can smash the demons it must deal with its own issues; the clash of cultures between oriental tradition and Western managerial profit driven systems, not to mention spies, rivals, and more.

Wai Wong, Adam Deacon, John Altman, George Wilson, and British comedy duo Trevor & Simon round out the main cast.

The first three episodes in the 26-part saga are now streaming.
