Welcome home to your Boo Crew! Halloween 2022 may have come and gone, but this place right here is your safe space where we celebrate an eternal Halloween.

We have SO many more tricks and treats on the way! First up, our friends at Propstore return with their all-new fall entertainment memorabilia auction happening this Thursday thru Sunday, November 3rd thru 6th from 3:00pm GMT each day! The live auction will be held at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, London as well as online or via telephone for global bidding.

With 1,500 lots to choose from, it’s YOUR chance to bid on and own items used in the production of your favorite films, TV shows, and the music world! Propstore’s logistic manager Luke Cozens checks in from the UK to talk about the monumental horror iconography up for grabs including Mario Kirner’s truly historic collection of props, masks, and costumes from the Friday the 13th movies spanning 15 years of curation and discovery, all going under the hammer!

“Mario is the Historian of all things Jason Voorhees. He’s basically transformed his collection into the Friday the 13th Prop museum. And he literally has written the book on Friday the 13th. He has a Friday the 13th book that shows all of his collection. We are lucky enough to be selling 30 of his items in this auction,” Luke tells us.
Hear about the recently unearthed Dr. Carl Hill severed head from Stuart Gordon’s 1985 masterpiece, Re-Animator! Or perhaps the full costume of Kiefer Sutherland’s David from 87’s The Lost Boys complete with trademark wig and jewelry est. £30,000 – £50,000 ($34,256 – $57,093)! Plus Freddy’s glove est. £25,000 – £35,000 ($28,546 – $39,965), Doug Bradley’s original PINHEAD makeup appliances est. £12,000 – £16,000 ($13,702 – $18,270), and so much more!
Luke previews, “Pinhead, leader of the cenobites, played by Doug Bradly in the classic Clive Barker Hellraiser. So this is a lifecast with filming prosthetics. This is actually incredibly rare to have an original pinhead make-up appliance. It’s thought to be one of the last surviving sets.”

Stephen King’s ‘Doctor Sleep’ Returns to ‘The Shining’ With Mixed Results [The Losers’ Club Podcast]

“Life was a wheel, its only job was to turn, and it always came back to where it started.”

The Losers’ Club: A Stephen King Podcast heads to Frazier, New Hampshire to review Stephen King’s 2013 novel, Doctor Sleep. The sequel to 1977’s The Shining follows a much-older Danny Torrance, whose battle with alcoholism becomes all the more complicated when he crosses paths with a young child who also has the shine.

Join Losers Randall Colburn, Michael Roffman, and Dan Caffrey as they discuss the True Knot, dirty dishes with poundcake, and debate if King should have ever burned down The Overlook Hotel. Note: This episode was recorded in 2019 and is being re-released today as part of their ensuing chronological read-through.

Stream the discussion below and stay tuned next week for an episode on Bryan Fuller’s Carrie. For further adventures, join the Club over long days and pleasant nights via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, RadioPublic, Acast, Google Podcasts, and RSS.
