The Bloody FM podcast network’s fan favorite The Hotel has returned for its sixth and final season. From five star resorts down to seedy motels, each episode the Hotel changes her shape and a new guest checks in with The Manager, The Lobby Boy, and The Owner. Good and bad, innocent or guilty, Hotel policy is no one is turned away, and no one checks out. Not even the staff.
After producing sci-fi anthology podcast The Theatre of Tomorrow together, co-creators Mark Whitten and Veronica California decided to pivot to horror, and The Hotel was born. Around season 3 it became a cult hit, spawning a dedicated fanbase, two spinoff miniseries, and even expanding into other languages. The Hotel En Español, its Spanish language version produced by Guillermo Ruiz de Santiago, recently premiered season 2.
“In season 6, everything and nothing changes. It’s going to be an ending that will hopefully completely satisfy the dedicated listeners, but will almost definitely generate a lot of capital O ‘Opinions’ in EVERYONE,” said co-creator Veronica California (also known for her work as co-showrunner of Bloody FM‘s Dead Space: Deep Cover).
Season 6 recently premiered and releases monthly, so there’s still plenty of time to spend with the beloved Lobby Boy.
