FridayThe13thFanatics forum member A.J. Leatherman posted a series of photos showing off a diorama that he spent six months constructing, which recreates the barn from Friday The 13th: Part 3. The scene shows Jason’s body laying in the hay at the double barn doors as well as highlighting several minute details. It’s honestly pretty incredible!
Leatherman states:
I dabble a little bit in modeling, so I decided to take a shot at making a replica of the barn from Part 3. Five or six months later, I finally finished it – complete with lights, hinged gates, hayloft lift – the works! It’s about 1/24 scale, so the completed barn is approximately 13 inches high, 2.5 feet wide, and 3.5 feet long. I took a lot of screenshots from the movie, so I think the detail work is pretty accurate. I don’t have a lot of the “dressings”, like the saddles and assorted “junk” in it, but structurally, I think it’s pretty close to the real thing.
