This Ouija Coffee Table and Rug Set is Something I Need

Update: We reached out to Tom Spina designs and got the following information:
The cost for a rug and table set is estimated to be around $2,000, which actually isn’t that bad for a set like that. I was honestly expecting more around the $3-$4,000 mark. Additionally, we’re told that the product will very much look like a “spirit board” but will not use the Milton Bradley graphics. Instead it will be something similar in nature and capturing the style of the ouija board.

How many of you have some sort of horror decor in your place? You know, that something that you have to show visitors that horror is a part of your life and you’re not ashamed of it. For me, I’ve got multiple framed posters, a Crystal Skull vodka that I filled with my own fake blood mixture, and several other little knick knacks here and there. But having seen this concept for a ouija coffee table and rug set, I realize that I need to step up my game!

Designed by Dave Delisle, the board is the rug and the planchette is the coffee table and if you don’t think it’s one of the coolest goddamn things you’ve ever seen, well…clearly we have different tastes.

Delisle explains, “The wooden coffee table features a glass fixture and wheels, of course. The carpet would ideally be as big as possible to help sell the illusion of an oversize game board. The one thing about the Ouija Board is that it’s a very nice design, and looks at home on the floor.

Can you imagine if you had this set in your place and when you put your feet up on it after a long day the table suddenly started moving to try and spell something? Look, I’m not the biggest believer in the supernatural but I do think logically and my logic tells me that if a small board can summon a human-sized ghost then a coffee table and rug-sized set would be enough to summon Cthulhu. “Ïa! ïa! Cthulhu ftagn!, I guess!

Below is the concept, which sadly is not something that is made with any frequency. However, Delisle explains that you can reach out to Tom Spina Designs for a quote! I’ve already reached out to see if I can get a price range, which I’m guessing is going to be pretty much out of this world*!

‘A Man in the Woods With an Axe’ – First Look at ’80s Throwback Slasher [Exclusive]

We have an exclusive first look at A Man in the Woods With an Axe, a blood-soaked, genre-twisting homage to 1980s slasher films.

Spanning four decades, A Man in the Woods With an Axe begins in the summer of 1987 before pushing into the modern era, weaving together timelines and perspectives in a way that builds both dread and intrigue.

Drawing inspiration from genre standouts like Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Hatchet, and The Cabin in the Woods, the film blends visceral horror with moments of dark humor, creating a uniquely balanced experience that honors tradition while carving its own identity.

Writer-director Dillon Brown (Primal Darkness) aims to deliver everything fans crave from a slasher while boldly subverting expectations with a mid-film twist that redefines the story.

“This is an unapologetic love letter to the films that made me fall in love with horror,” Brown tells Bloody Disgusting. “But I didn’t just want to recreate that feeling; I wanted to challenge it. About halfway through, the film takes a turn that completely changes how you view not only this story, but the genre itself.”

Brown describes the vintage-inspired production as “far and away the bloodiest film I’ve ever made,” with practical effects helmed by Cody Ruch (The Mill, Pig Hill), an instructor at Tom Savini’s Special Make-Up Effects Program.

From Horror Dadz Productions, A Man in the Woods With an Axe is currently in production and targeting an early 2027 release.
