I’ve seen some strange promotions in my time but this one is truly bizarre, while makes it all that more interesting. This morning, SAW franchise star Tobin Bell was joined by Lionsgate producers and their marketing team to ring the NYSE opening bell. The stunt was to celebrate Lionsgate’s eighth SAW film, Jigsaw, opening in theaters October 27th. I’m curious if there’s a financial connection to the new film or if they’re just looking ahead to when the franchise tops $1B worldwide! Here’s a replay of this morning live feed, which is pretty fun. This is one of those videos we’ll revisit in 20 years and be like, “Remember when Jigsaw was on Wallstreet?”
