Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, Robert Englund Highlight Flashback Weekend Chicago
The Flashback Weekend Horror Con is returning to Chicago this coming Aug. 2-4, 2019, at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, IL.
The annual convention is presenting a huge line-up with major celebrity guests and several reunions with Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) toplining a “Ladies of Elm Street” reunion that includes Heather Langenkamp, Lisa Wilcox, Lisa Zane and more!
There will also be a Candyman reunion with Tony Todd and Virginia Madsen, where Todd will appear in costume with prosthetics created by FX legend Robert Kurtzman.
Lastly is a Night of the Creeps reunion with Tom Atkins, Jason Lively, and Jill Whitlow in costume photo-ops. Fred Dekker also appears.
Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead trilogy, the original Spider-Man trilogy) is also appearing with Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead trilogy, “Ash vs Evil Dead”), and Ted Raimi, as well as Lance Henriksen, Melinda Clarke, Cerina Vincent, and Svengoolie (Rich Koz).

At Creep I.E. Con Aftermath, horror icons Brad Dourif, Fiona Dourif, and Alex Vincent sat down with Bloody Disgusting’s Shelby Novak (of Scare You to Sleep) and Michael Roffman (of Halloweenies) to discuss the past, present, and definitive future of the Chucky franchise.

The three share hilarious personal anecdotes about what it’s been like growing up together with Chucky in their lives. They also digress on the elasticity of the series and why they’re game for anything Don Mancini throws their way. Speaking of which, there is also a tease of what’s to come.
