Whether it’s Orlando or Hollywood, Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights is the fucking greatest.
Bloody Disgusting’s Vanessa Decker and Ryan Valdez were lucky enough to attend the opening night event in California where all the stars came out to walk through haunts based on their creations.
In the following video, Decker chats it up on the red carpet before taking us through several mazes, including Ghostbusters, Us, House of 1,000 Corpses, “Stranger Things”, and “Creepshow”.
In the interviews, she chats with Dan Aykroyd, who tells her that the new film isn’t based on the preexisting Ghostbusters 3 script and is a brand new screenplay; the Chiodo Brothers discuss the birth of their 80’s classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space; HHN creative director John Murdy reveals that many of the props in the “Creepshow” maze were created from actual molds from the new Shudder show; and she also chats it up with KNB’s Greg Nicotero, Michael Dougherty and Bill Moseley!
