Wrong Turn 4K UHD from Umbrella Entertainment

Wrong Turn will be released on Collector’s Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on July 8 for $60 from Australia’s Umbrella Entertainment.

Directed by Rob Schmidt, the 2003 horror film has been newly masterd in 4K with Dolby Vision for the first time.

Terrifier 2 Action Figures from NECA

NECA has launched pre-orders for a Terrifier 2 ultimate action figure two-pack with Art the Clown and Little Pale Girl.

Priced at $59.99, it’s due out in the fourth quarter of the year. Each 7″ scale toy is fully articulated.

Accessories include interchangeable faceplates and hands, knives, Tommy gun, sunglasses, flamethrower, cereal box, bicycle horn, lollipop, sword, salt, bleach, a heart in a box, and more.


Forbidden Fruits Vinyl from Waxwork Records

The Forbidden Fruits soundtrack is available on vinyl for $40 from Waxwork Records. It’s expected to ship in June.

Composed by Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), the album is pressed on four color variants: Apple, Fig, Cherry, and Pumpkin.

It’s housed in a gatefold jacket scented to match each fruit, designed by Matt Needle. A sticker sheet, 24×36 poster, printed insert, and an Obi strip are included.


Phantasm Shirt from Phactory

Celebrating its 47th anniversary this week, Phantasm was originally titled The Never Dead for its Australian release.

Phactory, the official Phantasm merch store, has released the first-ever shirt featuring the alternate title. It costs $24.99.


10 Cloverfield Lane Steelbook 4K UHD from Paramount

10 Cloverfield Lane will celebrate its 10th anniversary with Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital release on June 2 via Paramount.

The 2016 second installment in the Cloverfield franchise is presented in 4K with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos sound.

Produced by J.J. Abrams,  franchise marked the directorial debut of Dan Trachtenberg (Prey, Predator: Badlands).

Brokeula Novel by Michael J. Seidlinger

Michael J. Seidlinger will publish Brokeula on July 7 via Clash Books. It features cover art by Trevor Henderson.

The 120-page satirical horror novel explores late-stage capitalism by absurdly flipping the narrative on the classic vampire motif.

It follows a broke vampire’s last ditch effort to escape the blood-sucking monster of capitalism through an ill-conceived multi-level marketing scheme.


KPop Demon Hunters Mug from Netflix

Netflix has sculpted a KPop Demon Hunters mug in the shape of Derpy’s head with Sussie perched atop.

Priced at $24.95, the 16-ounce ceramic drinkware is expected to ship June 30.


Jaws, Halloween, & Terrifier Hats from Fright-Rags

Fright-Rags is celebrating the start of the MLB season with a trio of baseball-inspired horror hats.

The line includes Jaws (Amity Island Sharks), Halloween (Haddonfield Boogeyman), and Terrifier (Miles County Clowns) designs by Kyle Crawford.

Priced at $27, each one-size-fits-most hat features a 3D embroidered logo on the front and an embroidered mascot on the back.


13 Demons Dead Graphic Novel by Adam Tierney

​13 Demons Dead, a graphic novel written by Adam Tierney (“Teen Titans Go!”) and illustrated by Sapsy, will be published on August 4 via IDW Publishing.

The 264-page, manga-inspired, black-and-white graphic novel is about a teenage girl who has just one year to defeat thirteen invisible demons… without flunking out of high school.

14-year-old Everly “Ev” Espada is armed with nothing but courage, grit, and a growing supernatural legacy requiring her to hunt creatures older than civilization while also dealing with family, homework, bullies, secrets, and the realization that she may be humanity’s last line of spiritual defense.
