‘Backrooms’ In-World Cap’n Clark’s Ottoman Empire Shirt Available from A24
Enter the world of Backrooms with a shirt from Cap’n Clark’s Ottoman Empire, the fictional furniture store in which the liminal horror film takes place.
The two-sided tee is available for $40 from A24. The studio is also selling a Backrooms 12×17 adhesive poster for $25.
You can even fax the number on the shirt — 408-357-2875 — to receive a sales flyer from the store.
In theaters May 29, Backrooms stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as a Cap’n Clark’s Ottoman Empire employee who discovers a strange doorway in the basement of the furniture showroom.
Kane Parsons makes his feature directorial debut based on his creepypasta-inspired YouTube series. Will Soodik (“Ash vs. Evil Dead”) penned the script.
Renate Reinsve (A Different Man), Mark Duplass (Creep), Finn Bennett (“True Detective: Night Country”), Lukita Maxwell (“Shrinking”), and Avan Jogia (Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City) round out the cast.
A24 produces alongside Chernin Entertainment, 21 Laps Entertainment, James Wan’s Atomic Monster, and Osgood Perkins’ Phobos.

We’re not going anywhere anytime soon, and we hope you’re not either.
On that note, we thought it might be fun to fire up monthly discussion threads where you can essentially use the comments sections of those articles to ask us anything. Sure, we’re always hanging around in the comments sections of different articles here and there when we can, but these will be dedicated spaces that we can repeatedly come back to throughout each month to answer questions and chat about what’s going on in the world of horror.
For the month of June 2026, this is that discussion thread. Feel free to come on back here any day throughout June to ask us literally anything, or start up a discussion on any topic of your choosing. Whenever we’ve got some spare time in between writing articles, we’ll pop in here and engage back with as many of those comments as we possibly can.
