We hear those of you asking for the forums to come back, and while we’re working on it we have one new feature that we hope will scratch that itch in the meantime.
Each film in the newly launched Bloody Disgusting Horror Database now has a discussion section that you can use to review, comment on or discuss films with the Bloody Disgusting horror community. Using the new discussion boards requires a free BDDB account and a small amount of reputation first. So sign up, rate a few films and create a list or two and you will be good to go.

We’ve also put some work into the lists feature, giving each list its own dedicated page that you can link to and share. We’ll also be featuring some of our official lists along with some of our favorite community lists like user vamp_fangz’s list “Slasher revival movies that have posters with the cast doing the thing“ or “Super Sequels” by stuspiria
User profiles also got a fresh coat of paint, with a new overview tab highlighting your recent activity and film list of your choice. You can also customize the background of your profile by picking a film and clicking the SET AS FAVORITE button.
More ways to browse the database now include showing horror films by streaming service and a dedicated page to see what was recently added (we’re now over 10,000 films!).

We’re trying to recapture some of what we loved about the early days of Bloody Disgusting by having a real community, so please make sure to let us know what you like, what you don’t, and how we can make this even better.
