Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider wrote and starred in the horror film Strangeland back in 1998, and he’s made no secret of the fact that he’d love to bring Captain Howdy back to the screen. Directed by John Pieplow, the late ’90s horror film has amassed a bit of a cult fanbase over the years, with Snider recently teasing that he may turn his sequel idea into a novel in the future.
While we wait, Strangeland is back this Halloween with a brand new haunted attraction!
Now through November 6, Dee Snider’s Strangeland is haunting Woods of Terror in Greensboro, North Carolina with an official haunted attraction based on the 1998 cult classic!
And you may see Dee Snider there this Halloween season…
Snider teases, “I will be visiting Woods of Terror for meet and greet opportunities throughout the haunt season so stay tuned!”
Woods of Terror is bigger and better than ever this Halloween, featuring 18 terrifying attractions, the Monster Midway, Live Music, Drinks and Food, Photo-Ops and so much more.
