One of the most badass Predators of all is getting NECA’s “Ultimate” treatment.
Back in 2014, NECA put an action figure of the so-called Ahab Predator up for grabs at the San Diego Comic-Con. The toy was exclusive to the event, but those who missed out will be happy to hear that the company has decided to bring Ahab Predator back for an “Ultimate Edition” figure that they just unveiled today.
Who is Ahab Predator, you ask? A character prominently featured in Dark Horse comic books such as Alien vs. Predator: Fire and Stone and Prometheus: Life and Death, Ahab is a badass Yautja Elder who is known for his hunting skills, having taken trophies from numerous worlds and gaining many scars in the process. Fascinated with the Engineers, Ahab ends up tracking one down and killing it, taking the superior beings skull, spinal column, and high-tech weapon as trophies.
NECA’s upcoming Ultimate Ahab figure, well, it includes all those trophies. The figure, adorned in a red cape, comes complete with an Engineer gun, a Predator spear, and yes, even the skull and spinal column of the poor Engineer who crossed paths with Ahab on that unlucky day.
