“You can run, but you can’t hide, BITCH!”
Adult Swim’s animated series “Rick and Morty” often pays tribute to the horror genre, and one of the most fun homages came during Season 1 episode, “Lawnmower Dog.” That’s the episode wherein we met Scary Terry, a misunderstood monster who invades dreams and looks a whole lot like Freddy Krueger.
In Rick’s own words, Scary Terry is a “legally-safe knockoff of an ’80s horror character with miniature swords for fingers instead of knives.”
Funko just announced that Scary Terry will be getting his own POP! vinyl as part of their third series of “Rick and Morty” toys. He’ll be joined by Summer, Beth and
Jerry – Beth comes complete with wine glass. Rounding out the series is Lawyer Morty.
