Andy Muschietti Designing Pennywise Collectible Statue for Tweeterhead

Not only has Funko released a handful of POP! vinyl toys based on last year’s IT, with a whole new wave coming real soon, but NECA also has a Pennywise 2017 action figure in the works. The most exciting upcoming collectible, however, may be a just-announced forthcoming offering from Tweeterhead, being designed by Andy Muschietti himself!
Toyark reports this morning that Tweeterhead has acquired the license to IT and will be kicking things off with a 1/5 scale statue of Pennywise. Not only is it being designed by Muschietti, the film’s director, but it’s being sculpted by Amalgamated Dynamics!
The company teases…
“Obviously working on a character like this is beyond cool…but we also honored at having the Maquette designed by none other than Andy Muschietti, the Director of IT and the upcoming continuation. Added to that, the Maquette will be sculpted by the team at Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. They’re the team who brought Pennywise to life.
Trying to get a more authentic Pennywise Maquette would be nearly impossible and working with this team…all I can say is “Is it done yet”, “Is it done yet”, “Is it done yet”!!!

The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
