Fan Makes Custom ‘Pacific Rim’ x ‘Power Rangers’ Mashup Action Figures
Meet… the JaegerZords!
As many have pointed out over the years, Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim shares a few things in common with Power Rangers, notably the idea of the heroes piloting massive robot war machines in order to do battle with the biggie-sized bad guys. As for the bad guys, Goldar is essentially a Kaiju beast, not unlike the enemies in Pacific Rim.
So what happens when you mash the two properties together?!
Toy customizer Grimlockimus just repainted a couple Pacific Rim: Uprising action figures in Power Rangers colors, creating Dino and Ninja Megazords… Pac Rim style!
Gotta love it.

The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
