Funko Giving Pennywise His Own Cereal!
Yes, Pennywise cereal. It’s a good time to be alive.
Funko teased back in March that this Summer will see the launch of a brand new line of Funko Cereal that includes licenses that are part of the company’s POP! vinyl line. The uniquely colored cereals will include mini POP! toys inside each box, and properties such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice and Elvira were initially teased.
In Netflix’s brand new doc Making Fun: The Story of Funko, a handful of other upcoming cereals were teased, including blood red Pennywise cereal! It appears that Friday the 13th, Gremlins and Cthulhu cereals are also in the works, as well as Harley Quinn, Skeletor, Mumm-Ra and a handful of other properties/characters.
Funko founder Michael Becker recently previewed, “I used to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings while I was eating cereal. There are prizes in the cereal and it will sell for $7.99 a box. When you add milk to the Freddy Krueger cereal, it looks blood red. With the Beetlejuice cereal, when you add milk it looks like slime.”
Last we heard, the new cereal line, which will be marketed through collectible store outlets (like FYE) as opposed to grocery stores, is expected to hit shelves in June 2018.

‘Scary Movie’ Official Popcorn Bucket Is Shaped Like a Retro ’90s Telephone
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
Call Shorty now at: (855) WAZ-ZZUP
Hitting theaters June 5, 2026, Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”
Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite for the new Scary Movie, with the cast also including Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Jon Abrahams, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, and Felissa Rose.
Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe…
Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs Scary Movie 6 from a script written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
