‘Killer Klowns from Outer Space’ Join NECA’s Toony Terrors Line! [Photo] #SDCC
The San Diego Comic-Con is officially under way and one of the first big reveals is a handful of brand new action figures from NECA’s Toony Terror line.
Yet to be announced, but currently on display are Toony Terrors based on the Chiodo brothers’ 1988 sci-fi horror cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
It’s unclear if they’re being sold individually or as a set, but the three initial clowns include Slim, Shorty, and Chubby, as well as one of the clown plants.
In the film, Aliens who look like clowns come from outer space and terrorize a small town. There are several other clowns, including the massive big bad at the end of the movie. Hopefully we get to see different versions of these figures if this set is successful.

On Friday, April 26th at 9am PT, Mattel Creations, Mattel’s e-commerce and content platform for creators, collaborations, and innovators, will be releasing the newest Monster High Skullector doll, Creature From the Black Lagoon!
In partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, Monster High is reimagining the iconic creature who lies in the mysterious depths of the Amazon just in time for the 70th anniversary of the classic film. The prehistoric amphibious humanoid dazzles in Monster High fashion with glimmering green gills, shimmering scales, and killer harpoon heels.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon Monster High doll features…
- 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
- New face sculpt (made specifically for this doll) on original scaly body with fin and gill details
- Wears a scaly swimsuit with pearlescent amphibious body armor
- Accessorized with anchor-accented fin headpiece and webbed harpoon heel boots
- Includes custom lagoon-inspired doll stand and premium packaging
On sale to the public beginning April 26, the limited edition doll will be selling for $65. These Monster High “Skullector” dolls never last long, so be sure to act fast this coming Friday!
