Mondo Launches Pre-orders for ‘Over the Garden Wall’ Action Figures
“Over the Garden Wall” may not be strictly horror, but few pieces of media embrace the autumnal atmosphere better than the animated miniseries.
Mondo has launched pre-orders for its first set of action figures from the show, which are based on the first episode “The Old Grist Mill.”
Wirt stands 7.5″ to the top of the hat and comes with two heads, alternate folded hands, three capes, and cap.
Greg stands 4″ to the top of the kettle hat and has two heads, alternate arm with Kitty the frog, alternate arm with removable axe, candy hand, rock hand, bag, and teapot hat.
The Dog is 5″ tall. Beatrice the bluebird and a black turtle are also included.
The figures are designed by Leanne Hannah, sculpted by Brandon Gash, and painted by Mara Ancheta.
Priced at $135, the limited edition set is expected to ship in June 2026.
Created by Patrick McHale (“Adventure Time,” Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), “Over the Garden Wall” aired on Cartoon Network in 2014.
Elijah Wood, Collin Dean, and Melanie Lynskey lead the voice cast.
Luiz H. C. wrote in his review, “This modern Grimm fairy tale is a perfect example of gateway horror done right, as it embraces its wholesome elements as storytelling tools rather than limitations.”

‘Scary Movie’ Official Popcorn Bucket Is Shaped Like a Retro ’90s Telephone
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
Call Shorty now at: (855) WAZ-ZZUP
Hitting theaters June 5, 2026, Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”
Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite for the new Scary Movie, with the cast also including Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Jon Abrahams, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, and Felissa Rose.
Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe…
Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs Scary Movie 6 from a script written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
