Monster High has partnered with LAIKA to add Coraline to its Skullector doll line.
The 10.5″ doll is dressed for adventure in a removable yellow rain jacket with a functional hood. Additional fashion elements include a dress, striped socks, rain boots, and a dragonfly hairclip in her blue bob.
Featuring 11 points of articulation, Coraline comes with her button-eyed rag doll, cat friend, satchel, and hat. A doll stand and certificate of authenticity are also included.
Priced at $71, the Monster High Skullector Coraline doll launches this Saturday, March 14, at 9am PT exclusively from Mattel Creations. Fang Club members will be able to place their orders beginning 24 hours in advance.
Released in 2009, Coraline is written and directed by Henry Selick, based on the 2002 novella by Neil Gaiman.
The stop-motion film follows Coraline Jones, who is bored in her new home until she finds a secret door that leads into a world that’s just like her own… but better! But when this fantastical adventure turns dangerous and her “other” mother tries to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness and bravery to get home.
Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Keith David, and Ian McShane lead the voice cast.
A live-action Monster High film is in development at Universal from writers Hannah Hafey and Kaitlin Smith with M3GAN‘s Gerard Johnstone attached to direct.
