Ahead of the Halloween season, McDonald’s has joined forces with Toho for a monstrous Happy Meal that also happens to be a collaboration with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty at the very same time.
The “cute meets Kaiju” Happy Meal is available BEGINNING TODAY… like right now!!
McDonald’s partnered with Hello Kitty creator Sanrio and Toho Co., the owner of Godzilla, to launch the limited-time Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meal, which features 8 different toys.
The toys dress up beloved Hello Kitty characters as iconic Kaiju monsters.

- Badzt Maru x Rodan
- My Melody x Mothra
- Keroppi x King Ghidorah
- Choco Cat x Space Godzilla
- Cinnamoroll x Destoroyah

One randomly selected toy will be included in each Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meal, with the options for food including a hamburger, a 4-piece chicken nuggets, or a 6-piece nuggets.
McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director Guillaume Huin called this “one of the best collections of Happy Meal toys I’ve ever seen,” as well as “Hall of fame collectibles in the making.”
