Watch the Full Opening of “Scream: Season 2”
It may have its premiere on Monday, May 30th, but MTV has decided to give fans a taste of the second season of “Scream” a fair bit early. Below is the opening of the first episode, showing off the first 7 minutes of the episode.
“Season 2 of Scream picks up with Emma’s (Willa Fitzgerald) return to Lakewood after several months at a retreat, where she tried to recover from the horrors of last season. Everyone is walking on eggshells around her, questioning whether she has truly gotten over the Killer’s crimes. Meanwhile, Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) is hiding her connection to the Killer, but is getting harassed by someone who knows the truth. Brooke (Carlson Young) and Jake (Tom Maden) are also keeping secrets—they are hiding a budding romance from Mayor Maddox (Bryan Batt). And, Noah (John Karna) is getting closer and closer to the truth about the season 1 murders. Lakewood’s murderous past, both recent and distant, are once again brought to focus – with this Killer’s psychotic mind-game intent on bringing Lakewood’s heroes down in a storm of betrayal and bloodshed.”
The new cast including Kiana Ledé (Republic Records Recording Artist), Santiago Segura (47 Meters Down), Anthony Ruivivar (“Banshee”), Austin Highsmith (“Murder in the First”), Sean Grandillo (“Spring Awakening” – Broadway Company) and Karina Logue (“Ray Donovan”).

The sci-fi thriller heads to Digital and VOD on July 10, 2026.
In The Outer Threat, “After making a groundbreaking extraterrestrial discovery, astrophysicists Daniel and Michelle are forced to flee from home with their family — pursued through the countryside by a relentless and anonymous assailant. As their flight unfolds, the line between cosmic revelation and human paranoia blurs, leading to a tense and emotional confrontation that challenges the boundaries of understanding, science, and survival.“
The film comes from writer-director William Woods and stars Constance Wu, Mark O’Brien, William Fichtner, Callista Crowe, Isaac Smelcer-Zhang, Oscar Hsu, and Murray Furrow.
Maddy Falle, Albert Shin, and Allison White produce. Executive producers include Rob McGillivray, Ben Stranahan, Tom Spriggs, John Hansen III, Patrick Vipond, Jared Blaichman, Jonah Blaichman, and Randall Okita.
