There are few things better than an extended horror marathon on the small screen, and in the wake of Syfy launching their 31 Days of Halloween celebration earlier this month, AMC is getting set to kick off their annual FearFest programming. This year’s horror movie marathon runs from Thursday, October 13th straight through the big day.
What better way to begin the fun than with a marathon of the Halloween franchise? FearFest 2016 launches proper with the original Halloween at 9am EST on October 13th, and it’ll be followed up with Halloween 2 (1981), Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Rob Zombie’s Halloween, and encores of both Halloween (1978) and Halloween 2 (1981). Notably absent from the marathon are the original sequels past the fifth installment, though I’m sure nobody will complain about that.
Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Child’s Play marathons follow.
