TNT’s “Let the Right One In” Pilot Begins Casting

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce‘s Necar Zadegan, pictured above, and Cameron Gellman (20th Century Woman) have joined the cast of Jeff Davis’ TNT drama pilot “Let the Right One In”, Deadline reports.

Based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, Let the Right One In is an eerie drama about a young boy, long tormented by his classmates, who finds solace in a friendship with a charismatic female vampire who appears to be near his age. The vampire settles into the boy’s small town with her mysterious caretaker, just as a series of bizarre murders begins attracting the attention of law enforcement.

Zadegan will play the series regular role of FBI Special Agent Sarah Church, who heads to the Canadian border after three border patrol agents are found, all of them exsanguinated. She soon learns that a remarkably sly and deadly serial killer has been carving a bloody swathe across Europe for the last decade, and has now relocated to North America.

Gellman will recur as Kyle an attractive bad boy, who, despite appearances, is not a bully; in fact, he’s quite friendly to Henry, and thinks he should try being a bit more aggressive with his teenage tormentors.

It was recently announced that “Doctor Who” and “Happy Valley” director Euros Lyn has been locked to directed the pilot of the show.
