Preview the Next Episode of “American Horror Story: Cult”

It all began on election night…

There were two vastly different reactions to Donald Trump winning the election this past November; one side was terrified while the other, well, it seemed like their worst instincts truly had been validated by the most powerful force in the country. As we saw in the premiere episode of “American Horror Story: Cult” last night, the FX series is exploring both sides in the ripped-from-the-headlines new season.

On the one side is Ally (Sarah Paulson), a woman whose deepest, darkest fears bubble to the surface in the wake of the election. On the other side is Kai (Evan Peters), a charismatic cult leader who sees Trump’s victory as the perfect opportunity to prey upon the collective fears of the American public. The two characters are on a collision course, and it should be pretty interesting to see what happens when the extreme left and extreme right collide in the world of “American Horror Story.”

One thing’s for certain: nothing about this season’s commentary is going to be subtle.

Check out the preview teaser for Episode 2 below.

The cast also includes Billy Eichner as Harrison Wilton; Alison Pill as Ivy Mayfair-Richards; Billie Lourd as Winter Anderson; Cheyenne Jackson as Dr. Rudy Vincent; and Colton Haynes as Detective Samuels. Frances Conroy, Lena Dunham, Emma Roberts, Adina Porter, Mare Winningham and Leslie Grossman also star.

Episode 2 of Season 7 premieres Tuesday, September 12.
