Beelzebub Featured in Amazon’s “Good Omens”
Amazon and BBC Two announced that Anna Maxwell Martin has joined their upcoming fantasy drama series “Good Omens” as the demon Beelzebub, with Mireille Enos, Lourdes Faberas and Yusuf Gatewood saddling up as Horsemen of the Apocalypse, adds Deadline.
Enos will play War, Faberas is Pollution and Gatewood is Famine — but what about that fourth Horseman? “We are hoping that Death will be played by Death,” writer-showrunner Neil Gaiman said.
Michael Sheen and David Tennant play the respective lead characters of Arizaphale and Crowley in the six-part series based on Gaiman’s and Terry Pratchett’s novel.
“‘Good Omens’ takes place in 2018 when the Apocalypse is near and Final Judgment is set to descend upon humanity. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, and tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan — except a somewhat fussy angel, and a fast-living demon are not looking forward to the coming war, and someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.”
“Good Omens” is in production and will be released by Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries in 2019. It will be followed by a run on BBC Two in the U.K.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!
Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.
Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.
The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”
“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
Watch the trailer below to preview this week’s bloody new episode!
