We’ve Already Got Poster Art for “The Simpsons” ‘Treehouse of Horror XXIX’!

It may seem a little early to be talking Halloween, but the reality is we’re only two and a half months away from the start of October, which is pretty crazy. Summer sure is flying, eh? In any event, Indiewire just got their hands on the official poster art for this year’s Treehouse of Horror XXIX, the 29th annual Halloween special for “The Simpsons” that’s airing this Fall.

They also got their hands on the synopsis for this year’s special…

Homer wins an oyster-eating contest against the mythical Cthulhu. Springfield is overrun by plant body-snatchers, Lisa finally snaps, and Mr. Burns opens a retirement home with some Jurassic upgrades.

There’s no air date yet, but we do know that Treehouse of Horror XXIX will be spoofing Jurassic Park/World, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and The Three Faces of Eve.

Check out the SDCC ’18 art for the special below.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has three awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
