Hulu has just shared the trailer for the Blumhouse-produced 12-part anthology series “Into the Dark”, which kicks off on October 5, 2018. The kicker here is that there will be a brand new episode airing each and every month for an entire year, with them all being holiday-themed.
We have details on the first two episodes, with the first being directed by Paul Davis, the filmmaker behind Beware the Moon: Remembering ‘An American Werewolf in London’.
In “The Body”, pictured above, penned by Davis and Paul Fischer, “A sophisticated hitman with a cynical view on modern society finds his work made more difficult when he has to transport a body on Halloween night, but everyone is enamored by what they think is his killer costume.”
The episode stars Tom Bateman, Rebecca Rittenhouse, David Hull, Aurora Perrineau and “Ash vs Evil Dead’s” Ray Santiago.
The second episode, “Flesh & Blood”, will premiere on November 2, 2018.
Directed by Drive Angry and My Bloody Valentine‘s Patrick Lussier, “Kimberly, a teenager suffering from agoraphobia, has not left the house since her mother’s murder, which remains unsolved. While under the care of her doting father on the eve of Thanksgiving, Kimberly begins to suspect that she is in danger, and that it’s always the ones you love that hurt you the most.”
Dermot Mulroney, Diana Silvers, Tembi Locke and Meredith Salenger. It was penned by Louis Ackerman.
