‘Tucker and Dale vs. Evil’ Star Alan Tudyk Will Voice the Joker in ‘Harley Quinn’ Animated Series

In the world of live action, Joaquin Phoenix is our next Joker, but in the world of animation, we’ve learned today, it’ll be Alan Tudyk who next voices the Clown Prince of Crime!

Chatting with Discussing Film, Diedrich Bader just revealed that the Tucker and Dale vs. Evil star will be voicing the Joker for the upcoming “Harley Quinn” animated series.

I did a [recording] session with him a while ago, and he’s very funny as Joker,” Bader, who voices Batman in the series, told the podcast.

Bader also added, “There’s a lot of dirty language in it! I’m not going to be watching it with my kids, at this juncture —  maybe in a couple of years, when they’re a little bit older. It’s definitely an Adult Swim-esque take on it, so it’s darker, but it’s very funny. […] It’s gonna be a rockin’ good time.”

“Harley Quinn” will hit the DC Universe streaming service in 2019.
