Jordan Peele’s “Twilight Zone” is Remaking ‘Nightmare At 20,000 Feet’ With Adam Scott!

Easily the most iconic episode of “The Twilight Zone” was the William Shatner-starring ‘Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,’ which made its way into the 1983 feature film anthology in a segment directed by George Miller and starring John Lithgow. We’ve learned today that the classic episode will be remade again in the Jordan Peele-produced “Twilight Zone” reboot!

Adam Scott will star in the new take on the classic tale of a gremlin who may or may not be on the wing of an airplane. It seems the reboot will tell new and old stories alike.

Jordan Peele will host the series, set to arrive on CBS All Access in 2019.

The new series will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Peele, Kinberg and Ramirez will exec produce for the series and collaborate on the premiere episode. Win Rosenfeld and Audrey Chon will also serve as executive producers.

“The Twilight Zone,” created and hosted by Rod Serling, ran as a series on CBS from 1959 to 1964. The show melded fantasy, science-fiction, and horror elements with Serling serving as the exec producer and writing or co-writing 92 of the show’s 156 episodes along with delivering monologues at the beginning and end of each episode.
