While FX’s “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” could have easily wrapped up the anthology series, creator Ryan Murphy is continuing on with a ninth season – and even a planned 10th.
Entertainment Tonight caught Murphy on the red carpet at his Walk of Fame ceremony Tuesday where they asked him if fans can expect to see Cordelia Goode (Sarah Paulson) and her coven return in Season 9.
“The witches will be back,” he revealed. “Not next season, though, but we have something really fun planned.”
Spoiler warning. Cordelia survived the “Apocalypse” season finale, as well as Supreme Mallory (Billie Lourd), Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), Misty Day (Lily Rabe), and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe). And while Madison (Emma Roberts) and Myrtle (Frances Conroy) didn’t make it, earlier episodes indicate they could be resurrected.
Surprise, b*tch! The coven survived #AHSApocalypse, and @MrRPMurphy confirms our faves will be back for another season! Bring back our girls, @MsSarahPaulson and @RobertsEmma. 😭 pic.twitter.com/4LTTJ96au9
