“Into the Dark”: Hulu Celebrates Valentine’s Day with the Director of ‘The Last Exorcism’

Daniel Stamm, who directed the Eli Roth-produced The Last Exorcism, is tackling Valentine’s Day for February’s episode of Hulu’s “Into the Dark”.

In “Down”, written by Kent Kubena (producer on the Black Christmas remake and Turistas), a pair of office of workers get trapped in an elevator over a long Valentine’s Day weekend, but what at first promises to be a romantic connection turns dangerous and horrifying in this Blumhouse mash-up of rom-com and horror film genres.

Natalie Martinez (pictured; Death Race, End of Watch), Matt Lauria (“Friday Night Lights”), Arnie Pantoja, Diane Sellers and Christina Leone all star.

Hulu will stream the newest feature on February 1, 2019.

Co-founded Bloody Disgusting in 2001. Producer on Southbound, the V/H/S trilogy, SiREN, Under the Bed, and A Horrible Way to Die. Chicago-based. Horror, pizza and basketball connoisseur. Taco Bell daily.
