Hulu Collects Debts When “Into the Dark: Treehouse” Streams Next March

This month, Hulu celebrates the New Year with Sophia Takal’s “Into the Dark” episode “New Year, New You” before kicking off 2019 with the Valentine Day-themed “Down”, directed by The Last Exorcism‘s Danial Stamm.

Bloody Disgusting also has early word on March’s episode that takes on the Ides of March, which is a day on the Roman calendar that corresponds to the 15th of the month. It was marked by several religious observances and was notable for the Romans as a deadline for settling debts.

James Roday (“Blood Drive”) writes and directs “Treehouse”,  the tale of celebu-chef, Peter Rake, who tries to escape a recent wave of negative tabloid exposure by retreating to his family’s vacation estate in the woods. But the ghosts of Peter’s past are everywhere and debts will be settled. Soon, he realizes that a woman’s place is anywhere that she chooses to be.

The episode stars Jimmi Simpson (pictured in “Westworld”, “Black Mirror”), Mary McCormack (1408, Deep Impact), Shaunette Renee Wilson (Black Panther), Maggie Lawson (Gamer), Stephanie Beatriz (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), Julianna Guill, Michael Weston, Amanda Walsh, Sutton Foster, and Cass Bugge.

Catch “Treehouse” on Hulu Friday, March 1, 2019.
