Frank Castle absolutely demolished Billy Russo’s face at the end of the first season of Netflix’s “The Punisher,“ leaving him alive but (presumably) without his good looks. Weirdly, however, Russo (aka “Jigsaw,” played by Ben Barnes) doesn’t look all that banged up in the forthcoming second season of the series, as the creators instead opted for minimal facial scarring.
The real damage, it seems, was done to Russo’s mind.
As we noted in an editorial last week, it’s a bummer that the show’s Jigsaw doesn’t look half as nasty as expected, but artist Boss Logic has once again come along to save the day! The wait is almost over. Season 2 will be hitting Netflix on January 18.
