Netflix‘s “Stranger Things” has turned several child actors into beloved stars, and one of them is Gaten Matarazzo, who of course plays Dustin in the ’80s-set series. Matarazzo’s star continues to rise with an upcoming new series from Netflix, as Deadline reports today that the actor will both executive produce and host a new hidden-camera prank series!
Eight episodes of “Prank Encounters” have been ordered by the streaming service.
“Each episode of this terrifying and hilarious prank show takes two complete strangers who each think they’re starting their first day at a new job. It’s business as usual until their paths collide and these part-time jobs turn into full-time nightmares.”
Anthony Gonzalez (Undercover Boss) directs the series, premiering later this year.
