We had told you just last week that a couple purchased the allegedly haunted farmhouse in Rhode Island where the real-life nightmare that inspired James Wan’s The Conjuring played out back in the 1970s, with plans to open the house up for tours later this year. But first, Zak Bagans and the “Ghost Adventures” team will investigate the house this Halloween season!
The announcement was made at the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, with the “Ghost Adventures Halloween Special” airing October 31st on the Travel Channel.
The house, built in 1736, is said to be haunted by the spirit of a woman named Bathsheba Sherman. But is it truly haunted, as the Perron family claimed back in the 1970s?
On Halloween night, the 2-hour special will petrify viewers as the crew investigates the home of the notorious Perron family, whose horrifying hauntings were portrayed in the film, The Conjuring. The Rhode Island home is one of the most terrifying places in the world and has also been made famous by the work of renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were called in to help by the Perron family. The Ghost Adventures crew is ready to confront the potentially dangerous consequences of investigating the infamous house.
