Is the “American Horror Story: 1984” Slasher’s Name Mr. Jingles?

FX has released the titles for the first two episodes of “American Horror Story: 1984”, which takes viewers back to the ’80s for a slasher-themed season that stars Emma Roberts alongside Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy and “Pose’s” Angelica Ross.

Just last week we shared the first official trailer that revealed Camp Redwood as the primary setting of the new season, a summer camp being stalked by a killer.

The first episode, set to premiere on September 18th, is appropriately titled “Camp Redwood”, while the followup may have just given us the name of the season’s slasher: “Mr. Jingles”.

The name is interesting as it appears to be in direct reference to the mouse in Stephen King’s “The Green Mile” that allegedly symbolizes humankind standing in judgment before God. It’s the perfect metaphor/motive for an ’80s slasher, no?

We’ll update you when we have confirmation on the killer’s name, although we may not find out until the premiere next month. What do you think?
