HBO’s “Watchmen” will premiere Sunday, October 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), and today brings another brand new official trailer. You’ll find it down below.
Set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, “Watchmen”, from executive producer Damon Lindelof (Emmy winner for “Lost”; HBO’s “The Leftovers”), embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name, while also promising to break surprising new ground entirely its own.
Nicole Kassell directs the pilot from a script written by Lindelof.
The cast includes: Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk.
