Ahead of Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey next year, which sees Margot Robbie reprise the role of Harley Quinn, streaming service DC Universe is first bringing the lovable maniac back to the screen in “Harley Quinn,” an animated series that promises “R”-rated sensibilities. “Harley Quinn” will premiere on November 29, and DC Universe has unleashed a new trailer today.
This trailer focuses on Harley’s attempt to put together her own group of supervillains, a crew made up of – in her own words – “scumbags no one else believes in.” Harley cracks heads with her baseball bat and drops F-bombs in the new trailer, which you probably shouldn’t be watching if you’re at work right now. At the very least, toss on your headphones first!
Kaley Cuoco is voicing Quinn. The cast also includes Alan Tudyk as the Joker.
The series follows Harley Quinn’s adventures after she breaks up with the Joker, including receiving help from Poison Ivy and others to become a member of the Legion of Doom.
