We learned back in 2018 that J.J. Abrams was developing a sci-fi series titled “Demimonde” for HBO, and today brings an update in the form of a showrunner announcement.
Deadline reports that Kira Snyder (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Rand Ravich & Far Shariat (“Life”) will serve as co-showrunners and exec producers for Abrams’ HBO series.
The site notes that the series is “a sci-fi drama about the lengths a family will go to find their missing child.”
It hails from Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and HBO.
