Absolute Batman animated series

Batman’s plunge into body horror is one of the many reasons why Scott Snyder’s record-breaking Absolute Batman has become so popular, so much so that an animated series adaptation is officially on the way.

DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation announced the series adaptation of Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s best-selling DC comic book series, THR reports.

Absolute Batman reimagines the Dark Knight for a new generation as a working-class hero, instead of rich, up against impossible odds on a mission to save a much more violent Gotham.

Launched in 2024, the comic series has sold more than six million copies, with the first volume on its 11th print run.
