Chucky Season 3: Part 2

The third season of USA and SYFY’s “Chucky” was split into two parts as a result of last year’s Hollywood strikes, but have no fear, Chucky’s return to the small screen isn’t far away.

“Chucky” Season 3: Part 2 will premiere on April 10 at 10/9c on USA & SYFY!

In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, Season 3 finds Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure building, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up?

Season 3: Part 1 ended on a bombshell, where it’s revealed that the killer Good Guy doll is finally aging. And in our first look at the new episodes, well, he’s not looking so hot…

The returning cast includes Brad DourifJennifer Tilly, and Devon Sawa, alongside Lara Jean Chorostecki, Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson, and Alyvia Alyn Lind.

John Waters will play Good Guys creator Wendell Wilkins in Season 3: Part 2, while the aforementioned first look teaser (linked above) features an appearance from Brad Dourif!

Unlike previous seasons of Don Mancini’s hit television series, new episodes of “Chucky” will be streaming the next day on Peacock. Good news for all you cord cutters out there.

Part one of “Chucky” Season 3 was the most-watched season of any USA/SyFy series since 2021 in the 18-49 demo (971k), the networks jointly announced this week.

“I’m the Grim Reaper” – Sam Raimi Teams with ’10 Cloverfield Lane’ Writers on Gory, Funny Webtoon Adaptation

I'm the Grim Reaper

The Wattpad/Webtoons and Grave Weaver-created series “I’m the Grim Reaper” is nearing its 200th episode, and it’s also getting a new TV series adaptation with talented names behind it. Deadline reports that celebrated filmmaker Sam Raimi is teaming up with 10 Cloverfield Lane scribes Josh Campbell & Matt Stuecken on the new series.

The series follows “Scarlet, a young woman who wakes up in the ninth circle of hell with no idea how she got there. Satan offers to send Scarlet back to Earth if she’ll work as his reaper. But it doesn’t take long for Scarlet to realize that Satan’s offer is even worse than she feared.”

The story is said to fit perfectly into “Raimi’s wheelhouse, striking a deft balance between scares, gore and humor.”

Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi will executive produce the series with Weaver, who’ll also team on the development process. Raimi may be most known for his Spider-Man and Evil Dead movies, but the filmmaker has been busy behind the scenes producing. More recently, Raimi produced this week’s action brawler Boy Kills World and last year’s 65, with Don’t Move on the way.

The “I’m the Grim Reaper” webtoon launched in 2019, delving into the humor and horrors of reaping souls in Hell. That it’s on the cusp of airing its 200th episode means no shortage of story and mythology for Campbell and Stuecken to pull from.

Stay tuned for additional details on this new series as they arrive.
