The midseason premiere episode of Don Mancini‘s “Chucky” Season 3 brought Chucky back to the small screen on both USA and SYFY last night, and if you missed it, you can watch the brand new episode of “Chucky” online right now… free of charge!

SYFY has uploaded the full episode to YouTube this morning, and you can watch it down below. The “Chucky” Season 3 midseason premiere is titled “Death Becomes Her.”

In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, Season 3 finds Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the walls of the White House.

How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure building, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up? More importantly, how is Chucky going to survive his most deadly adversary to date: OLD AGE?

Brad Dourif, Jennifer Tilly, Devon Sawa, and Fiona Dourif are all back this season. The returning cast for “Chucky” Season 3: Part 2 of course also includes Lara Jean Chorostecki, Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson, and Alyvia Alyn Lind.

I wrote in my review of the midseason premiere, “It’s the humor that shines brightest in “Chucky” Season 3’s long awaited return. The one-liners, over-the-top kills, cheeky Damballa specialists, and Brad Dourif having a ball exploring a new side to his enduring character make for a welcome return of the series. As entertaining as the episode is, with so many standout charming moments, Don Mancini propels the story forward in subtler ways.”

Also look for Old Man Chucky to take aim at a few other pint-sized horror icons in this episode.

Watch new episodes of “Chucky” on Wednesdays at 10/9c on SYFY and USA Network, or stream them on Peacock the following day.

This hit horror series is produced by UCP and executive produced by creator Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe.

Horror journalist, RT Top Critic, and Critics Choice Association member. Co-Host of the Bloody Disgusting Podcast. Has appeared on PBS series' Monstrum, served on the SXSW Midnighter shorts jury, and moderated horror panels for WonderCon and SeriesFest.

The second season of animated spinoff “Velma” is now streaming on Max, and it sounds like Velma and the “Scooby-Doo” gang may also be headed back into the world of live action.

Variety reports this afternoon that Netflix is planning a live action “Scooby-Doo” television series, with the streamer actively “nearing a deal” with Warner Bros. Television.

The series is being described in Variety’s report as a “one-hour drama project,” with Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg attached to write and executive produce.

Executive producers on the upcoming “Scooby-Doo” Netflix series also include André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner for Midnight Radio, with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Leigh London Redman executive producing through Berlanti Productions. Varierty’s report continues, “Jonathan Gabay of Berlanti Productions and Adrienne Erickson will co-executive produce.”

“Scooby-Doo” has mostly been an animated series over the years, but there were two live action movies in 2002 and 2004: Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.

The live action cast for those two films included Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, and Linda Cardellini as Velma.
