‘Revival’ Trailer Brings the Dead Back to Life in SYFY Comic Book Adaptation Series
The dead come back to life in “Revival,” but this isn’t a zombie series. SYFY is bringing the comic book adaptation to the small screen, and the official trailer has arrived.
“Revival” premieres Thursday, June 12 at 10pm ET/PT on SYFY. Each episode will head to Peacock the following week.
In the series, “On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect. ”
The series stars Ready or Not scene stealer Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen. Recurring guest stars include Steven Ogg, Phil Brooks (CM Punk), Gia Sandhu, Katherine King So, Maia Jae, Nathan Dales, Mark Little, Glen Gould, Lara Jean Chorostecki, and Conrad Coates.
“Revival” is created by Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce, who serve as showrunners and executive producers.
Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, Samantha Levine, Neil Tabatznik, Daniel March, Melanie Scrofano, Greg Hemmings, Stephen Foster & Amanda Row also serve as executive producers. “Revival” is produced by Blue Ice Pictures and Hemmings Films.
The Revival comic book series was created by Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash) and artist Mike Norton, and it was published by Image Comics between July 2012 and February 2017.

Emily Mortimer, Manny Jacinto, and Thomasin McKenzie Join ‘Fallout’ Season Three
Today, Prime Video announced that Emily Mortimer (Relic), Manny Jacinto (The Acolyte), and Thomasin McKenzie (Victorian Psycho, Eileen) have joined the cast of Season Three of Fallout.
The hit series begins production on its third season this month in Los Angeles.
The series based on the video games tells “the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.“
The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Frances Turner (The Boys), Annabel O’Hagan (Rent Free), and Dave Register (FBI).
Aaron Paul (Anything But Ghosts) has also joined the cast for Season Three, as previously announced.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners.
