Journey to a lost world with a trailer for “The Dinosaurs,” a Netflix documentary series executive produced by Steven Spielberg.
It follows the rise and fall of the dinosaurs across hundreds of millions of years, with visual effects and animation by Industrial Light & Magic (Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Avatar).
Narrated by Morgan Freeman, all four hour-long episodes will stream March 6 on Netflix.
Nick Shoolingin-Jordan serves as as series director, with Dan Tapster, Keith Scholey, and Alastair Fothergill as showrunners. The same team was behind “Life on Our Planet.”
Silverback Films and Amblin Documentaries are behind the project. Spielberg executive produces alongside Keith Scholey, Darryl Frank, and Justin Falvey.
Lorne Balfe (Black Widow, Terminator Genisys) composed the score.
