Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” is back later this year for Season 13, and the lucky (or is it unlucky?) 13th season will be packed with the long-running series’ biggest stars.
For starters, Jessica Lange is returning to “American Horror Story” for Season 13, and Ryan Murphy has shared a first look at Lange’s return over on Instagram this morning.
Murphy writes, “American Horror Story, Season 13. Day One. The return of Jessica Lange!”

News of Jessica Lange’s involvement in Season 13 is particularly notable, as Lange hasn’t been part of the series for quite some time. In fact, she had recently outright stated that she won’t be involved in Season 13, but it’s now clear she was playing coy at the time.
Jessica Lange was of course a staple of the first four seasons of FX’s hit horror anthology between 2011 and 2015, her performances earning her two Primetime Emmy awards. She guest starred in 2018’s eighth season, reprising her original role as Constance Langdon.
When will “American Horror Story” Season 13 premiere?
No word yet on the theme or title for “AHS” 13, which will likely premiere Halloween 2026. At this time, however, we don’t have a concrete premiere date. Stay tuned for updates.
