You may have noticed that this past Sunday night’s episode of “The Walking Dead” ended with a tribute to the late George A. Romero, who unquestionably paved the way for the AMC series to even exist. With Night of the Living Dead, Romero created the zombie as we know it today, so all subsequent zombie projects owe a huge debt to the master.
That includes the post-apocalyptic survival horror game Dying Light, which just added a wonderful in-game tribute to the fittingly nicknamed “Father of the Zombies.”
“You can find it in the area around Jaffar’s Garage,” the team noted, revealing the George Romero tribute wall mural with a touching video you can watch below.
