Despite showing off a new trailer at E3 earlier this month, Frogwares didn’t actually announce a release date for the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired The Sinking City, but we’ve learned today that a release date has finally been set. Publisher Bigben Interactive will be releasing the mystery-adventure game not this year but on March 21, 2019.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

“Taking place in the 1920s, The Sinking City is a game of adventure and investigation set in an open world inspired by the works of the famous American horror author H.P. Lovecraft.

You will step into the shoes of a private investigator who arrives in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts – a city suffering from unprecedented floods of supernatural origins. You must uncover the source of whatever has taken possession of the city – and the minds of its inhabitants.”

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has three awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
