So New Line’s The Nun blew the lid off the box office this past weekend with a $53.3 million opening here in North America, and another $77 million worldwide. Now I’m not here to play the game of “ugh, film sucked, why are you mentioning it?”. That’s your opinion.
What I am here to tell you about is that in the spirit of the film’s success, Final Flame Productions (the same guys who have done Grand Theft Auto 5 machinima video tributes to horror heroes and villains, as well as their own parodies such as for IT) had done a machinima video for The Nun back in June that’s just been brought to our attention.
I know, better late than never. Still, you have to hand it to these guys for once again being able to put together something that functions as a nice tribute to the film, but also just showing their skills off with the tools that they have. Still no carjacking as Valak, though.
